2019 KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Leslie Crutchfield

We are thrilled to announce Leslie Crutchfield as the featured Keynote Speaker for the 2019 Annual Nonprofit Conference! Ms. Crutchfield is a celebrated author, the Executive Director of the Global Social Enterprise Initiative (GSEI) at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, and a Senior Advisor at FSG – a mission-based consulting firm. Leslie co-authored “Forces for Good: The Six Practices of High-Impact Nonprofits,” recognized by The Economist on its “Best Books of the Year” list. Her third book, “How Change Happens: Why Some Movements Succeed While Others Don’t” was released in Spring of 2018. Previously, Leslie co-authored “Do More Than Give: The Six Practices of Donors Who Change the World,” recognized as a “game changer for philanthropy in the 21st century.” She collaborates with FSG on developing new knowledge designed to advance social sector thinking and practice.

As Executive Director of Georgetown’s Global Social Enterprise Initiative (GSEI), Leslie and her team conduct research and deliver programs that help businesses drive shared social, environmental and economic value, and work with cross-sector actors to achieve positive societal change. Julia Campbell

We are pleased to announce Julia Campbell as the Morning Keynote! Ms. Campbell has run her Boston-based digital marketing consulting business for almost a decade, focused exclusively on mission-driven organizations. She is the author of “Storytelling in the Digital Age: A Guide for Nonprofits”, a call-to-action for nonprofits to use stories to accomplish their missions. Julia is a frequent contributor to Nonprofit Tech for Good, Social Media Today, Maximize Social Business, Elevation Web, Network for Good, Wild Apricot, and others.
