Tax Reform Update: Impact on Nonprofits
The recently passed Tax Cuts and Jobs Act calls for significant changes in the US tax code and is expected to have significant impacts upon charitable giving, taxation of unrelated business income (UBIT), excise tax on highly compensated employees of non-profit organizations and impose an excise tax on the net investment income of certain private colleges and universities.
