Managing People 3-Part Certificate Series – Fall 2017

Managing People is ideal for the professional who manages or supervises others, or aspires to do so. Participants will develop and refine leadership and management skills with a focus on:

Leadership – November 8, 2017
– Development of leadership
– Managing critical moments
– Employee involvement and communication

Supervision – November 9, 2017
– Delegation and accountability
– Negotiating expectations
– Mechanisms to improve performance

Counseling & Discipline – November 15, 2017
– Intro to conducting counseling session
– Writing counseling memos
– Overview of discipline

All participants who attend this 3-part series will receive a Certificate of Completion.
Participants also have the option to sit for a final exam on the last day of class.
This series cannot be broken into singular parts.
