Special Roundtable: OMB Uniform Guidance
December 8 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Next Steps to Advocate for the Accurate and Consistent Implementation of the OMB Uniform Guidance
Join us on Friday, December 8th, from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Alliance Rocky Hill Office (35 Cold Spring Rd, Suite 500, Rocky Hill), for a special roundtable discussion on strategies to advocate for the accurate and consistent implementation of the OMB Uniform Guidance, including the proper reimbursement of indirect cost in state contracts/grants that include federal money. In addition to not covering indirect costs, current inconsistencies create unnecessary costs for both nonprofits and government agencies by imposing redundant and unnecessary application and reporting requirements.
Given the State’s current budget problems, addressing the burdensome, inefficient, and redundant requirements that exist can save Connecticut millions of dollars in wasted taxpayer money that in turn can be used to reimburse nonprofits for providing needed services on behalf of the government. We need your input and help to develop an advocacy strategy to ensure nonprofits are properly reimbursed for services provided and both the State and nonprofits save money by eliminating unnecessary requirements.
Please RSVP to Jeff Shaw or call 860.525.5080. We hope to see you there!
