“Today’s votes by the Senate and House on a state budget end months of fiscal uncertainty for community based providers and the half-million people who rely on their services, and we thank the Democratic and Republican leadership for forging this compromise. The budget is far from perfect. It funds some vital programs, while cutting others and includes unspecified cuts that could hurt community nonprofits. But it is significantly better than the Executive Order, and provides a path forward both fiscally and politically.”
