“Today’s announcement that the federal government will soon end years of oversight of services to families and children is a significant milestone and we congratulate the Malloy administration for their focused efforts to bring about the necessary improvements to make this happen. The Alliance looks forward to working with the state to ensure the final outcome goals of the Juan F. Consent Decree are met, and that Connecticut continues to strengthen its community based service system to ensure access to the best and most effective services for all at-risk children.”
