“We appreciate that the Governor and legislative leaders continue to work towards a budget agreement.
“We hope that a final agreement is close and that the state’s human service safety net will continue to be a priority for all parties. The half-million people who depend on nonprofits for services every year need a budget before more programs close and more people are forced to do without help they need.”
