We want you to succeed, to do business with our members and to profit from our partnership. When possible, Allies should offer special “member-only” discounts and benefits, which will help in our goal of providing cost savings to our members while driving business and dollars to your company. In turn, we’ll offer you special discounts and other exclusive opportunities that are only made available to Alliance Allies.

Exclusive Marketing & Promotion

LISTING IN “MEMBER MARKETPLACE” This page will list all of our Alliance Allies, and will be featured on our website, Describe the services and products you offer and explain what differentiates you from your competition. Share contact information and a link to your landing page or website. Promote your member-only discount and other benefits of your business. A printed list of our vendors will be made available to all members and will be given to all new members when they join.

LIMITED NUMBER OF VENDORS in each service area, which will give Allies a a better chance of doing business with our members.

MEMBER MAILING Allies will be provided with the exclusive opportunity to send our nonprofit members a mailing. The ability to send a piece of collateral – whether it’s a postcard, brochure or magazine – directly to our members means that hundreds of nonprofit professionals from across CT will become acquainted with your brand and the work you do.

VENDOR EMAIL This email goes out to all of our nonprofit email list of approximately 5,000 emails. It will feature Allies and will link to the online “Member Marketplace.” This email will welcome new vendors, and can include links to a vendor blog, shared articles, upcoming events or current discounts.

JOB BOARD BANNER AD Our Job Board website is one of the more popular pages on our site and is the largest nonprofit job board in CT. As an Ally, you will have the opportunity to pay the discounted member rate for 30- and 90-day banner ads on the Job Board webpage.

SOCIAL MEDIA Our social media accounts are very active, and share information about our events & trainings, policy action steps, updates and more. Promote yourself to our members via social media, share links and articles.

DISPLAY YOUR PAMPHLETS or other marketing materials at the Nonprofit Center in Hartford and our offices and conference room in Rocky Hill

Sponsorship Opportunities

ANNUAL CONFERENCE Our annual major event attracts over 600 nonprofit professionals to the Hartford Convention Center for a full day conference that includes a keynote speaker, workshops, roundtables, networking and more. Sponsors get to exhibit at the Conference, and are promoted as a sponsor on printed and online materials. The 2019 conference will take place on November 6 at the CT Convention Center in Hartford. Allies receive a discount and first choice of sponsorship packages.

TRAININGS & FORUMS We present dozens of workshops a year on a variety of topics that help nonprofits, their staff and leadership. In addition, our Forums are scheduled throughout the year and are designed to bring together nonprofit professionals in a specific role for a timely and interesting presentation and facilitated discussion. Allies will have the exclusive opportunity to sponsor one workshop or forum a year, where their logo would be included on all marketing materials related to the workshop. Sponsors are allowed to attend their sponsored event and leave behind a flier for attendees. Additional sponsorships beyond the first are available for purchase.

LEGISLATIVE RECEPTION This annual spring event takes place at the State House and brings together nonprofit leadership with state legislators to network and celebrate the end of the legislative session. Allies receive a discount on sponsorship, and as a sponsor, have their name & logo included on signage at the event.

EMAIL COMMUNICATION The Alliance’s primary method of communicating with our members and to nonprofits across CT is by email. We promote trainings, forums, meetings and events; offer information on vendors and on our various member benefits; legislative updates and action steps, and more. Sponsor logo and website link are included in the email that can go out to lists that range from 500 – 9,000 people. As an Ally, you will have the opportunity to sponsor an email where we would include your logo and website link. Allies receive two free email sponsorships.

CO-SPONSORED EVENT As an Ally, you will be able to plan and host an event for our members. Show off your business, share your expertise and bring our members together to learn and network. The Alliance will co-sponsor at least one event a year and we will help promote the event to our members.

NAMING OPPORTUNITY AT NONPROFIT CENTER Sponsor a room at the CT Nonprofit Center in Hartford and receive naming rights to the sponsored space. Our four conference rooms are used daily by our 26 tenants and by nonprofits and businesses from around the state. Naming sponsorships are available.

One of the best ways to connect and engage with our nonprofit members is by showing your expertise and experience. We offer our vendors countless opportunities throughout the year to speak, present, write and more. Enhance the technical knowledge of your field by sharing in the education and professional development opportunities offered by The Alliance.
