We look forward to seeing you at The Alliance’s flagship event, the Annual Nonprofit Conference on Nov. 17-19. This the largest event of its kind in Connecticut and draws an attendance of more than 600 nonprofit professionals & supporters. This is an opportunity you do not want to miss!

The conference will feature additional keynote panel presentations focused on addressing the challenges of our collective new normal, racial and social justice, federal advocacy initiatives and perspectives, and much more! Bakari Sellers

The Alliance is thrilled to announce Bakari Sellers as our featured Keynote Speaker for the 2020 Annual Nonprofit Conference.
Mr. Sellers is a CNN Political Analyst, Best-Selling Author, Activist and Founder of the nonprofit organization theOpportunity Project. As of September 2020, Sellers is an Emmy Award Winner for the documentary While I Breathe, I Hope, based on his incredible journey.
In May 2020, Sellers’ memoir, My Vanishing Country, was released, becoming a New York Times Best-Seller.
Sellers follows in the footsteps of his father, civil rights leader, Dr. Cleveland Sellers, in his tireless commitment to public service while championing progressive policies to address issues ranging from education and poverty to preventing domestic violence and childhood obesity.
