The CT Nonprofit Center is home to more than 20 nonprofit organizations in downtown Hartford and is the second largest nonprofit center in the Northeast United States. Allies have access to the Nonprofit Center as a satellite office when in the Hartford area. Hotdesking includes a private space to host meetings, a desk, free parking, WiFi, and coffee! Please Note:

The 2022 Legislative Session adjourned this evening with two major victories for The Alliance: First, the state budget passed Tuesday night increases funding for community nonprofits by more than $330 million over two years ago, June 30, 2021.
We thank the leaders of the state House and Senate for approving an FY23 state budget that includes desperately-needed funding increases. The budget includes $220.4 million in new money for nonprofit providers.

The funding increase for community nonprofits in the budget agreement reached today will improve the lives of thousands of people across Connecticut who are served by nonprofits and the staff who deliver those services.

As the Governor and legislative leaders meet today to negotiate a final state budget, including an 8% increase in funding for struggling community nonprofits who contract with the state, any reduction in that amount will have a dangerous impact on the state’s safety net.
