Statement from Gian-Carl Casa, President & CEO, CT Community Nonprofit Alliance on the ARPA funding bill to be considered by the General Assembly this week:
“Nonprofits who contract with the state to provide services for the state’s most vulnerable citizens, thank lawmakers for making a funding increase a priority this year. Nonprofit programs have been underfunded for nearly two decades and this increase is welcome.
“We also look forward to working with legislative leaders in the 2025 session to enact a much-needed update of the fiscal guardrails that have made this year’s budget process so challenging.”
