Statement on the Governor’s budget proposal

Statement from Gian-Carl Casa, President & CEO of CT Community Nonprofit Alliance, on the budget proposal released today by Governor Lamont.

“We are grateful that the Governor’s budget proposal includes funding for the nonprofit grant program that will help with the capital needs of providers. But after two years of inflation, COVID, workforce shortages and increasing demand we are disappointed that the Governor has not included across-the-board funding increases that our members desperately need. We look forward to working with his office and legislative leaders to ensure the funding is included in the final budget this spring.”
