“It’s clear from the proposed budgets and alternative budgets that Connecticut’s underfunded nonprofits are a priority for both Democrats and Republicans. We thank the Senate Republicans for their latest proposal that continues to move us in the right direction
“But we must be clear: Connecticut’s nonprofits have been underfunded for more than a decade. We hope that this bi-partisan support will result in a budget that provides the 9 and 7 percent increases that community nonprofits need.”
