Board members of community nonprofits joined Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff and leadership of the CT Community Nonprofit Alliance for a virtual press conference on Tuesday, 5/18 at 10:30 am to talk about the urgent need to support a long-term investment in the organizations they help lead. 

The board members were among 300 board members — business and community leaders — who signed an open letter to Governor Lamont and legislative leaders requesting their support of the Appropriations Committee’s plan to increase funding for community nonprofits by $470 million.
