Home Implementer §§ 334-335 & 337-361 — Changes to Existing Bond Authorizations

The bill changes numerous existing general (GO) bond authorizations, including:

  • $70 million to DOC for alterations, renovations, and improvements to existing state-owned buildings for inmate housing, programming and staff training space, additional inmate capacity, support facilities, and off-site improvements, an increase of $60 million.
  • $20 million to OPM for Grants to private, nonprofit, tax- exempt health and human service organizations that receive state funds to provide direct services to state agency clients: alterations, renovations, improvements, additions, and new construction, including (1) health, safety, ADA compliance, and energy conservation improvements; (2) information technology systems; technology for independence; vehicle purchases; and (5) property acquisition (repeal of FY 22 authorization effective upon passage), a cancellation of $15 million.
