“We applaud the federal court’s decision to uphold the civil rights of people with mental illness to live in the community of their choosing, and of organizations like Gilead Community Services to provide essential services in any city or town in Connecticut.
“Connecticut’s nonprofit human service system depends on integration into the communities they serve. This decision, and another last month from the Connecticut Supreme Court that upheld nonprofit property tax exemptions, will help ensure their success.”
