Statement from Gian-Carl Casa, President & CEO of CT Community Nonprofit Alliance on today’s action by the State Bond Commission on funding for nonprofits:
“We thank the Governor and the Bond Commission for approving $15 million for the Nonprofit Grant Program.
“Despite recent funding increases, community nonprofits continue to struggle to provide services, while deferring maintenance or capital expenditures. This much-needed grant funding allows nonprofits to address important structural and other capital expenses without jeopardizing direct services for people in need.”
