Election 2024
Election 2024
The stakes are high for community nonprofits this election season. On November 5, Connecticut will hold elections for the state legislature as well as federal representation in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. These officials will shape state and federal policy for the coming years.
Election related activities are part of a larger continuum of civic engagement for many in the nonprofit community. By engaging voters and candidates this election season, nonprofits will further their missions, have a positive impact on communities, build relationships with potential and current elected officials, and increase the general understanding of policy issues important to community nonprofits.
